What is the No-Carry Directory?

The No-Carry Directory is a user-driven business listing.  It’s purpose is to identify businesses that prohibit weapons while on their premises.

How are businesses added to the directory

Businesses are added in one of three ways.

•  By their owners or managers.
•  By Users who identify a business with signage or other promintant post restricting weapons.
•  Businesses can request to edit a listing that was previously submitted by one of force training systems’ users.

Why have a directory?

As a concealed weapons permit holder, it is sometimes frustrating to discover businesses that prohibit the carry of concealed weapons.  Having to alter dinner, shopping and or entertainment plans is mostly a nuisance and often an inconvenience.  The directory is provided as a tool to help identify businesses and their policy on concealed carry so that the responsible permit holder can make appropriate plans ahead of time.

How accurate is the directory?

The directory is user-driven, and although we try to validate each entry on the site, we cannot guarantee it’s accuracy.  We recommend that each user contact the business listed and verify it’s policy before carrying on that business premises.
